This was the secret 7” sent with some copies of the St Vincent record. I have been looking all over for one but haven’t seen any copies for sale. I can do cash or trade. Hit me up.

Tis a shame! Say what you will about flippers, but sometimes its the only way to get a release.
Would it help if I put $$ behind my offer?
    How about $45?

I'd recommend maybe messaging some people on discogs who have it in their collection. I've had luck with some people doing that when nobody has one for sale on discogs. Good luck! I'd help ya out if I got it but I've only gotten 1 secret 7" in the past!

I actually find that really annoying and don't suggest it even if it does work on occasion, that is not the purpose of discogs

I've message people on discogs quiet a few times and almost always works.
It will be my next course of action (it's time consuming so not my first go to.)

I've only done it once or twice for something that I've really wanted and haven't had luck finding elsewhere. I find it annoying if there are copies already for sale on discogs and people are trying to low ball, but I've also been messaged about stuff I own and have happily sold it if it's not something I listen to often. Just my two cents...I can see why people could be annoyed by it though.

Just My Opinion, but not sure why an email you can instantly delete would be that annoying...
That being said as long as I only asked once.
I have had a record that I get a message about from the same guy about once a month about, he is not helping his case.

Yeaaa...haha One guy messages me about Duality by Captain Murphy all the time and it's quite frustrating after I said I am not interested in selling.

Yes but imagine this becoming an accepted thing on discogs and suddenly you are getting 12 emails a day asking about different items in your collection, sure one email isn't bad allowing this to become a regular practice is not cool especially if you have a lot of items that no one sells

That's fair. Being spammed about things sucks. I only do it as a last resort and have only done it once or twice and never for super valuable items, just things that I haven't been able to locate.

I get that you wouldn't abuse the idea, but if it becomes a thing to do, people will, that is why I advise against it

I would say it’s an accepted thing already. Just doing a quick view of your Discogs to mine I would say I have more rare items that people would message about. But I guess that’s not really the point. I would say the easiest fix if you don’t want it happening is just make your collection private then no one will know what you have.

So what I got from your message is my collection isn't as good as yours so my opinion is less important because you are more likely to get bothered but don't care

Sorry not what I was aiming. Let me try and re word it. I have around 100 test pressings , several hand painted records and tons of event/location specific releases that are al rare and in demand. That being said I typically get 1 or 2 messages a month from guys looking to buy stuff I don’t have listed for sale. Some times I make a sale and some times I don’t want to sell the item. If the random messages bothered me I would just make my collection private or post on my profile not to message about items that are in my collection (which I have seen in a few profiles). But anyways me sending or not sending a message isn’t going to stop everyone else from doing it.

    Anyone have the Shame 7”?

OK, got a few hits on Discogs. Guess we can lock this up.
