I wanted to share my excitement with folks (other than my soon-to-be-annoyed downstairs neighbors).

Upgraded (from Klipsch R-14M) and christening them with Pink Floyd's PULSE.

Welcome to the club - these are what I'm running as well. I really love them.

*Notes: I need to dust, vacuum, and hide wires - but, I'm too impatient and just want to listen to music :D

Also, these things sound absolutely amazing.

So awesome. Congrats! I'm hoping these can be my next speakers when I have a dedicated space for vinyl.

I would highly recommend buying the Amazon listing for "ELAC - Debut F6 Tower Speaker (Each) (1 Pair) Bundle".

Individually, they are $379 whereas the bundle is $599, plus tax, and free shipping.

    Single speaker x 2 cost: $811.06
    Bundle pack: $640.93

Both totals above reflect sale price + 7% tax.

    $170.13 in savings.

I don’t know why I even came into this thread. Looking at that pic of your setup tickled a nerve and I’m thinking I could sell my Bookshelf Speakers for floor standers. Must resist! Arrrrrghhhhh

Lol yeah or when I read about a WRX Sti special edition. Then I start thinking Trade in my current one to get the newer one, even though the changes are cosmetic and 2 HP.

why'd you get the Debut instead of the Debut 2.0?

They are amazing. It took a few days to adjust to the different ranges as I came from two Klipsch bookshelves and my ears had adjusted to their "boomy" sound.

I had Klipsch towers too, and once I switched to the Elacs (I have 1.0 though), I was shocked at just how much more musical they were.

congrats on joining the Elac fanboy club!

    Congrats.

Just a general thought. I think if you brought them out into the room a little they would breath better especially with depth in recordings.

for sure. in fact, you want them off the wall by a solid 1-2 feet, and then angled in (pigeontoed) to the "sweet spot." trust me
