Oh, yeah. For sure. I love that Divine Fits as much, if not more than any of the Spoon albums. I saw them at Coachella too. Last I heard they were going to make another one as soon as Spoon wrapped up their touring for Hot Thoughts.

Yeah I don't buy nonexclusives from VMP anymore, with the rare exception when they have a limited pressing that I can't get elsewhere. This month I'm only at 1 add-on, so I think I'm set to have my smallest shipment yet.

No rising, so right now I’m at 3 essentials, classics and RHh. I’m debating RHH. I would’ve bought Prine, but I’m voting with my wallet there as well. I need VMP to get their act together. I could honestly give two craps about non-exclusives at this point. Be clear and forth coming in your product and take appropriate action when you screw up. Sure my $25 isn’t gonna make or break them../

Another thing I like about the album is that they trade off on lead singers. You don't see that much. Keeps me interested more.

I'm willingly paying for Classics @ $29 + Crate in case I ever want to drop Classics (not likely but still possible). Until Classics became available solo, though, I spent months tracking down & paying a lot more for each release (still looking for Miles & Coltrane). It thought it was ridiculous to see VMP post overstock for more than any subscriber has to pay, and I think it's still an inexcusable cash grab even if it's less than what someone might have to pay on Discogs/eBay.

Yep, one of the first I think, and I've kept it. I love the club, but most of their "Essentials" selections have been anything but for me; still given them a lot of money each month in the store.

I've heard from at least one staff member that they're going to try to kick the remaining members off Crate, blaming the new membership system. I've registered my thoughts on the matter and hope it's made it up the chain.

YeH, I got nothing for you. I think I’d give up crate and join classics if I were you at this point. You guys are in your own weird vortex.

They promised when they removed it from being an option to anyone that we'd get to keep it as long as we didn't drop it (wouldn't be able to get back on it), so that's my plan. Maybe I have no cause to be angry about them deciding to get rid of it for everyone, but when the supposed reason will be based on the new software system *they designed*, that's a problem.

Regardless of membership plan, that they're charging people more for Classics/RHH overstock than they charged subscribers remains a conscious, obnoxious cash grab.

Man, I've never experienced true FOMO until I came along with you guys. Tina'd that Kamaal. Hopefully the others I want will stay in store a little bit.

Are you referring to the Black Focus album by his duo group Yussef Kamaal? They did a reprint of it last year and I got a copy from Turntable Labs. Discogs prices are of course upped a bit unfortunately... https://www.discogs.com/Yussef-Kamaal-Black-Focus/release/9072898

I bought it last year at my local - I think they are still floating around (hence why VMP is selling them now)

Black with purple smoke seems like a pretty obvious choice here, wondering if they're waiting for the inevitable "score + soundtrack" release...
