My Best Friend is Moving to Denver. Where Should He Look?

    His wife just accepted a position in Lakewood. They don't make a ton of money. She does well enough and he's a Vet Tech, by trade. What are some good neighbourhoods they could look into? Preferably somewhere they can have a bit of a yard for their dog.

    They also have zero experience driving in weather, so probably not too far into the burbs...

    Lakewood is a pretty nice area and isn't very far from downtown. I live there now and it's about a 20 min commute into the city for me.

    I would try and stay away from having to use I-25 on a daily basis, that freeway is pretty awful during rush hour. Highway 6, which heads west toward Lakewood/Golden isn't terrible during rush hour. Though, I'm from CA, so my tolerance for traffic is higher than most here.

    I haven't been back in a hot minute, but I always loved the Cap Hill area of Denver.
