SHIPPING INFO - How it works, and what to do if things go wrong

    Alright, so I have been meaning to update this for a while, but here we go:
    HERE ARE ALL THE IMPORTANT PIECES OF INFO THAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT SHIPPING:
    • We charge all accounts and subscriptions on the 2nd of the month;The start of the shipping cycle.
    • We drop the ship list to our fulfillment house on the 3rd, and shipments begin processing.
    • The shipments go out in waves (random, and is based on how many shipments the workers at the warehouse can get through in a day), but all shipments should be out the door by the 10th.
    • If the 3rd lands on a weekend, or holiday, the shipping timeline will extend a few days accordingly.
    • You should receive a tracking email when your shipment leaves the warehouse (this hasn’t always been the case, but will be in the future, to prevent confusion).
    • If you don’t receive tracking by the 15th, shoot an email over to info@vinylmeplease.com
    • If your tracking stops updating, and a week passes, email info@vinylmeplease.com and we will take care of it.
    • If your package shows as delivered, but you didn’t receive anything, FIRST call your local post office to see if they have it, or can locate it or the driver that “delivered” it, then if they can’t find anything, shoot an email over to info@vinylmeplease.com
    • If your package is damaged…info@vinylmeplease.com

    Any store orders made after your Monthly shipment has already begun processing (so around the 4th) will be bundled with your next months shipment (So if you ordered on Feb. 5th, that will be bundled with your March shipment).

    I am going to un-sticky the old thread, and sticky this new thread. Just so that all new people coming for shipping info, will come to this post first :)

    Also, we are testing out a new Feedback form. As I mentioned in the State of the Union post, it is hard for me to keep up with all the feedback on here, when it is just happening in the main threads. So, if you have a piece of long-term feedback (meaning you don't have an issue that needs to be solved asap, and it is just something you would would like to see happen), fill out this form, and I will go through the responses weekly (maybe even daily depending on how many we receive).

    I caved and ordered Dent May due to the info that all orders placed by the 15th will ship same month, but separately.

    When did you say you got it? Like the 5th? Did you receive multiple? Pauly said previously somewhere that the first notices were sent in the old format and then accidentally sent multiple times, but then they straightened it out and the rest were the newer format.

    @PaulyB does this mean that we will start seeing our shipments notifications during the day instead of overnight (When I've gotten most of mine in the past.)?

    Not for you no. VMP have arranged for all your emails to be delivered to your Junk mail folder at 3:17am

    Mine have almost always come in the middle of my workday. Is this not normal?

    I always got mine between 9PM and 11PM. But it seems like with the new system a lot of people posting that they're getting their notifications have been around mid morning.

    Same with mine. And never the junk mail / spam folder. Except this month when they never came.

    @PaulyB just confirmed that mine will be most likely shipping out today ... It will be interesting to see if I get the new email or not.

    i assumed those that have no shipping notice are on a flyer being passed around the office. *insert cliche 80s/90s high school situation where everyone is reading your journal entry published in the school news letter*

    us poor fools without shipping notice are the journal entry.
