HAHAHAHA Yodel sux
So in the "good news" shipping category - my shipping notices seem to be working. I received one last week when FedEx got it, and then another one an hour ago updating me that it's "out for delivery" with USPS. Thumbs up!
I received my package this morning. It's a new and strange experience, receiving it so early out here in Portland, OR. Makes me think shipping by geography could be really effective...
I think this really varies by FedEx ship center and local post office. For me, it's a relief when it finally reaches Kent, WA. There have been a few frustrating exceptions, but generally from FedEx center to my central Post Office (Portland) and PO to my door is the only efficient part of the whole shipment.
Who is Yodel?
Yodel is a so called 'delivery service' in the UK (it's also who handles our vmp boxes too - each month is a test of nerves lol) they're known for not taking much/any care with people's parcels...avoid at all costs!
Happy for you! I’m also in Portland, and my shipment is still 3000 miles away once you factor in the Kent detour. If nothing goes wrong, it should arrive one week from today.
Not a shipping issue, but I think it was bought up in this thread, but I switched to the Tabs in Gmail (Promotions, Social etc), I'm pretty sure it's just a scam to fit more ads in because now there's just ads in there that look like emails.
This has been my typical experience. Ship around the 10th, arrive between the 18th-20th.
And now a 3rd email informing me that USPS has left the shipment at my house. This is great!
This is very true. I know if my box hits this one FedEx in a suburb just south of town, it's going to sit there for a few days. But once they get it into the city it moves quickly for me. Normally once it's in a Dallas facility, it'll be on the USPS truck and at my door the same day, even if it comes semi late... like 10am. I think it's very possible the smaller burbs might do small teams and they do receivables every couple days, and departing boxes on other days. When I see it happen though I'm always tempted to just call and drive 40 mins instead of waiting 2-4 more days.
I’m caught up on this thread, but not the forums in general this week, so forgive me if I’ve missed something.
I got a message from Josh on Monday telling me I wouldn’t be getting a copy of Blowout Comb (which sucks, because I ordered it for the best man in my wedding), but I figured at minimum that meant my order was in the process of being fulfilled. But 3 days later I don’t have a shipping notice still. I understand that something went haywire with them this month; should I continue to wait, or is my shipment on the way even though I didn’t get a notification?
All your getting is a packet of "Rich Tea" (biscuits). In a VMP box
Not to throw this off track but I must be the only one still curious of @Heath order contents..19..
Nah, it's Fox's Sports Biscuits.
Well @PaulyB was nice enough to send me a list via PM, and I swear the storm of vinyl coming my way was completely unintended!

Unintended? That’s like saying I unintentionally bought this BMW when I only meant to order a Honda.
To my credit, some of those are orders from months ago...at least that's how I've justified it.
You guys are just making these up, right? Maybe there’s just a Biscuit Name Generator somewhere that was the UK’s answer to the Wu Tang Name Generator. Or is there just a cookie that already exists for any nonsense combination of words that a person can come up with? Show me...Jockey Socks and Scribble Splits!
