So...when you start rolling out different genres and I see one I'd rather have... can I just flip to that new genre? Will there be a swap program with the other genres?

Not initially, but eventually, probably, yes.

Yeah, that's basically how we're going to set it up, but we maybe foresee a thing where the side subs have some swap options that only include other side subs. But that's like a year in the future; not something we're actively planning.

Yeah, I'm #teamnoswap unless it's something I have already. And I think that happened one time in like five years or however many years we've been at this.

I really wish this was standalone. I don't think my financial goals support multiple record subs anymore.

Having to stack it with your regular sub doesn't exactly make this different from member exclusives in the store. It seems like there's a bit of a price break factored in, but it's still a lot to commit to when even one random record a month seems like a luxury if you're budgeting. If they hadn't shown the first four and hooked me with that, there wouldn't have been a chance. Now it just makes me nervous for what the next four months might have in store for the rest of the club.

I've been listening to Attica Blues this morning and I am beyond excited to be able to spin this on vinyl this time next month.

I backed out of CLASSICS on the basis that my jazz, soul and blues collection is currently lacking a ton of the normal classics and I should probably focus on those first. Didn't mind Attica Blues but wasn't in love with it enough to drop $30+ CAD on it each month.

Hope my spot goes to someone who loves it!

Really excited about the other potential add-ons though...

This may have been answered already, but will these be numbered/foil stamped in any way?

I think they said it'd be stamped on the back for sure, but I think the numbering question they were asked was actually about whether the series itself would be numbered rather than each release. But you made me think, this is the first time they've said up front how many of this (other) album of the month they were pressing. I wonder if we'll get the same kind of transparency as they step it up each month.

My collection of those things is pretty bare as well, but I got excited for Ollie & the NGs and Serves You Right to Suffer. Those are both fantastic, and I'd not be shelling out for an original any time soon. If they keep it small and keep the releases something I can get excited about owning a copy of, I think it's something I can stick with. But they're definitely gonna have to work for it.

I've been in the club for a year and a quarter and the curation for Blues, Jazz, and Soul has been better than top notch. In fact, they tend to knock it out the ballpark every time. I am actually more excited about this sub than I am the main club at this point and I think they have done a damn admirable job with the normal club.

Only signed on full time late last year, Z I think. Definitely intend to pick up Big Bill Broonzy, and I just swapped Morby for Eddie Gale's Ghetto Music. Anything else still available you'd recommend?
