Nice waves...and had a dolphin brush against my leg, its a beautiful planet...
Was it a dolphin or a Mahi Mahi? @Hazbro666 wants to know.
I think the rule is dolphin = dolphin almost everywhere in the world, but in parts of Southern Florida you get laughed at for thinking dolphin = dolphin. “Stupid Texan, dolphins are tuna!”
Definitely a dolphin.....or a shark, see them all the time also. They don't tend to get that close though. :)
It's Friday evening in Australia, spinning tunes, well into my spiced rums...early to bed and up with the sun to catch some waves tomorrow
I'm not rude to waiters because they might spit in my food, I feel the same when I see VMP staff online, "Give that farker a warped one"
When I see your images containing shelves of vinyl in the bkgd, I like to go through your collection and work out what those albums are.
Coming up on year 3 of swearing this month is when I’m going to organize. I have vinyl spread over three rooms with no discernible order.
@Corycm I've just reported your comment to the moderator!
This is not only considered inoffensive, but even, in fact, polite.
It's not cool or trendy using tiny illegible fonts on record labels...its stickying pudding inconsiderate...
Just tripped down the stairs, running to greet the courier delivering my VMP box. It made me feel like a kid and very old at the same time!
lolololol. yeserday tripped walking down the stairs from our office kitchen and spilt coffee all over my sweater. BEEN THERE, DONE THAT
OMG. Delivery twinsies. Mine just turned up too. I feel old because I was out of breath running for the door. No stairs to deal with thankfully
Oh...it spins when you hover your cursor over it!
Phew...I'm the second last to know! When you're in the store, the VMP logo in the top left corner.
And when you’re on the magazine page, etc. I don’t think it does on the forum but I haven’t tried since they first made the logo change.
Please keep safe those of you that may end up in the path of Hurricane Florence.
Music is always playing in the background, but I'm finding it harder these days (in my life) to slow down, stop and really listen to it.
It's raining...FINALLY!!!. First time in 3 months. Its been so dry, my home will probably slide into the ocean now from the deluge.
Just finished playing the last of my Aretha albums.....................................
I learned a while ago that I don't even own one of her albums. I need to fix that, but I have a feeling her albums will be more expensive for a while.
I prefer black poly lined inner sleeves over white poly line inner sleeves.
I prefer any good non-denominational inner sleeve. That's one good thing about the vinyl resurgence - generally, included inners are head and shoulders above what they used to be. Any other old timers out there remember the cellophane inners that were about .10 mil thick? The horror...the horror.
@Yer Ol' Uncle D what were they thinking...sometimes there wasn't even an inner sleeve. I still receive vinyl today without inners - I'm sure there's a 'logical' reason for it.
Those were dark days for vinyl. Much akin to the 80s/90s period of the Ford Mustang.
What should I listen to right now? Not in the mood for RHH, no pop and definitely no RnB.
2am AEST - alarm set!
I'm broke at the moment and all I want to do is buy more vinyl
I know this feel
Or as most of us call it, Wednesday.
I care about the Arctic Monkeys as much as I care about the Arctic monkeys...
How much do care about Hoodoo Gurus though....I'm sure you'd know about this already but in case you don't. https://hoodoogurus.officialstores.com.au/record-club?gclid=CjwKCAjwiurXBRAnEiwAk2GFZrST4BpcsRF1mUKH7tOSkRvO6CFAjRRt96C6YY0QSSb8QeXZZfX3rRoC5QgQAvD_BwE
Yeah, its a beautiful thing....
Every time I see the album cover for Aromanticism, I think of @lee newman and not Moses Sumney!
I'd really like to live and work in the US for awhile.
