I like and collect 7"

I like 7” Records too. They don’t get played as much, for sure. Part of that is storage, I really need to grab a 45 flipbin.

I have a couple of ideas to help if you are interested in holding onto them. 1. Discogs random helps with dust. 2. Maybe we could start a 45 spinning thread to give them the exposure they don’t get. I’d even be likely to do 45 listening sessions once a month or so...

Haven't really listened since The Ugly Organ in high school, but will check this out. So many records out today!

@BjorgenFjorgen I know right. This is their first record with a cellist since The Ugly Organ and Clint is back on the drums. It's not as immediately satisfying as other Cursive records, but I can tell it is going to be a grower.

I'm really excited to listen to it. As a huge fan of everything Kasher does, I have to admit I was disappointed with both the last Cursive record and the last Good Life record. This one sounds promising though.

@deltadon Probably, but I only ask that because I never play 7" and these are going for stupid money. It's Christmas So We'll Stop went for $250 bucks recently, I have both versions of this.

This forum has been good enough to me that I'll buy whatever you're selling with a buyback clause whenever you're ready.

I was in need of money recently and sold a handful of records, one of which was Pedestrian Verse. Apparently it's out of print now so I got a nice chunk of money for it. Although I do love the album, I don't spin it much. So I was sad to see it go in some sense, but at the same time I don't miss it too terribly much.

Is it a smaller venue? I'd rather pay more money to see an artist in a smaller/ more unique venue than larger amphitheaters (ftr, I paid around $70 a ticket to see Isbell at Red Rocks)

this is like me with The National. first show was $20. Latest show was like $80. I didn't want to go to their upcoming mini music fest because tickets were $120~

@tvham Yeah, it's an acoustic show about 80 miles from me at at a venue that I saw him at last year. It only holds about 500 people or so. Last year tickets were about $15 dollars cheaper.

I am going to be kind of ticked if I don't get mine since it was $38 shipped. I am assuming it's non gatefold and didn't want to pay 38 dollars for a basic copy of the album. Hoping it will come through though.

you're right, It's not gatefold. I only bought it because it's been on my wishlist for a while and I dug the colored vinyl. $38 was ridiculous although it makes me feel slightly better knowing BJ gets most of that.

I heard rumors at the show Saturday night that DP will be performing for this, but maybe not as Diarrhea Planet.
