I’d spend a few extra bucks on the BlueJeans cables
*sees they're 30 bucks for 3 feet*
ok thats a lot.. i just need to connect a preamp to some speakers, since my next turntable wont have a built in preamp and i dont have RCA cables lying around
Go with what you can afford in that case. The AmazonBasics are definitely better than the RadioShack quality that get packed in with stuff and are a lot more affordable.
hey Duke, I would probably give the Amazon Basics cables a try unless you have an anti-Amazon stance as a consumer. I would guess that they're decent enough (please correct me if I am wrong).
Check out Monoprice - they are my go-to for most cables: https://www.monoprice.com/product?c_id=102&cp_id=10218&cs_id=1021814&p_id=5346&seq=1&format=2
that said, do your speakers connect to your amp with RCA cables or do you not have an amp but powered speakers?
powered speakers, an amp would take up too much space
got it...that's clears up my previous confusion. anyway @oldschoolkirby looks to have a nice suggestion for cables that don't cost an arm and a leg.
Monoprice is great.
