FINE. I guess that *does* make sense. WELL PLAYED LAST.FM
So earlier this month I thought this might line up on the exact 1 year anniversary of me joining Last.FM, however I ended up listening to a lot of Punk this week which blew up my scrobbles a bit and made me reach 20,000 with exactly 1000 artists just over a week earlier. I listened to pretty much nothing in April too, so I'm hoping to reach maybe 45,000 by the 2 year anniversary.
I swear there used to be a slider somewhere that you could use to set what proportion of a song you had to listen to for it to count as a scrobble, e.g. you could set 40% so that if you ever listened to less than that in one go it wont count it. Now I can't find it, and pretty much every time I pause a song, then finish it a few minutes later it counts as two scrobbles.
Anyone know how to fix this?
Don’t pause a song?
Well, its only marginally harder than manually finding and deleting duplicates, so its an option at this point.
1. Does your app automatically add your Discogs library to your collection?
2. Can you use it to search your collection on your phone? (I.e. can I delete the Discogs app if I download it - cause I don’t need/want both, but since there isn’t a vinyl scribbler app)
At Vinyl Scrobbler users- is there a way to add your Discogs to the thing in one swoop instead of entering them one by one???
I use an app called Discographic. I'm not sure about adding the Discogs library to a collection, because I've never done that, but I can scrobble whatever album I'm listening to (or even an individual track) from within the app
So it just has a library of records in it, you pull up the record and scrobble?
It's primarily a Discogs app so I have access to my entire Discogs collection (that's what I use to add records to it too). When I'm listening to one I'll just just "swipe left" on the album title and it will automatically scrobble the entire album to last.fm
Nope. Unfortunately. I just add them as I spin, which can be a pain, especially for new releases where the Discogs release has been made but Vinylscrobbler hasn't cached it yet. Once they're input though, it's not a problem to go back to them. I have all but about 20 in my Vinylscrobbler library.
This is what I'm using ... If it's on Discogs, I can scrobble it ...

Yeah, I’m gonna see how Vinyl scrobbler works for free first...
Plus it’s a site not an app so no room taken up on my poor phone.
Anyone know anything about this new layout? Why only change certains kinds of pages? I can find any info about it by Googling either.
What new layout?
The lists of scrobbles on my profile page looks different, and Artist pages are totally different.
Pc or mobile? cause it all looks the same on my iPhone
PC, artist pages look like this now:
Only been that way for a week or two.
Hasn't switched over for everyone yet. I still see the old layout.
Only an ios app at the moment so I'm out of luck. Sticking with Vinyl Scrobbler for now.
