Coincidentally, as of very recently, I've decided to officially move over to Spotify because I miss Last.FM and music+data. I'm back babe-ay!

    Here is mine! https://www.last.fm/user/neckermanncj/listening-report/week

Is the vinyl scrobbler just adding a full album manually to last.fm?

If I knew about it sooner I’d probably use it but it’s not worth doing it now. Also because I am lazy with keeping up on adding albums to my Discogs I definitely will forget to always add them to the vinyl scrobbler.

Yes and no... it takes its data from Discogs, you add the record to your vinyl scrobbler account and the. You hit the scrobble button on the album when you play it and it automatically adds the songs to your last.fm data.

Only time you need to figure out which version you have is when their are different track listings.

Hmmm so I found out my Spotify had been hacked because of this thread. I looked at my weekly report and apparently all week from 1am -4am my account was playing a 5 song playlist by someone named ClockedOutBoyz

Just can’t admit that you like ClockedOutBoyz. Smh. I think P4k ran an article about that.

I actually didnt hate it, they were just beats which I'm always about. I'd just never heard about it until today even though they were my most listened artist this week according to last fm

I just play the album on Spotify whenever I listen to my records. I like to keep track of my listening.

True... are we offsetting that benefit through energy consumption?

I started using Vinyl Scrobbler at the start of this year and don't use last.fm for anything else. At the end of the month, I had listened to 208 vinyls - which sounds about right to me. Still it's quite a lot when I see it... At this rate I should be able to listen to my 2,000ish collection during the year. #newnewyearschallenge
