Many different record labels... Blues Unlimited, Soul Unlimited, Zynn, Master-Trak and many more.

Over the decades, artists such as Slim Harpo, Lazy Lester, Lightnin' Slim, Lonesome Sundown, Katie Webster, Henry Clements, Tabby Thomas, Warren Storm, Sonny Landreth, Wayne Toups and many more artists were produced and had releases on vinyl, cassettes, 8 tracks, CDs, etc.

Still in business. The studio is $40 per hour, and considering the legends which went through this place, that is a good price. The vinyl archive is upstairs. Not one copy, but BOXES of old store stock (wholesale stock, actually) is still there... but as you can imagine the Slim Harpo is scarce, etc...

Many of the releases, only 500 - 600 were pressed! Fairly obscure, right out the gate.

They say vinyl is back, but we ain't dead yet. A Boogie Kings release just recently went public.

You hiring? My skill set as an anal retentive neat freak is all aces. Oh and I may know a thing or two about sound. :D

We are the polar opposite of anal retentive neat freaks.

They know a few things about sound recording. Two generations worth of knowledge and the foresight to present Slim Harpo to the public.

Fairly sure they'd tell you no. Fully staffed.

That doesn't occur here. You assume a lot.

Not once did I assume. I am an anal retentive neat freak, I do know a thing our two about sound, and I haven't kissed a bosses ass in twenty years. What assumption have I made?
You sound like a troll, we can handle that.

I don't really have a boss. I'm self employed. I consult for a few different entities.
They pay me for my skill set because they don't have it.

You guys should try to find a better boss. I've rarely had a "boss".
When you own your own company, you wear many hats.
My boss is me. He is awesome. He lets me go fishing and do what I want.

The guys I consult for, fire ass kissing yes men.... is what I've witnessed over the decades.

That is likely why some are still in business since 1946.
