Yeah there was an article someone posted about how you stop listening to new music around age 30 or something and we were all like what in the flying hell are you talking about?[/QUOTE]
I’m 48, and my musical tastes have broadened exponentially. Some of my favorite bands range from Swans and Neurosis to Kendrick Lamar and Janelle Monae. Hell, I even love some country, like Lydia Loveless and Sturgil Simpson. People who say there is no good music anymore aren’t looking hard enough.

    Help me...

Fatbeats is having a sale right now. I just bought Spacemen 3 and Primal Scream albums.

I'm running out of Record Store Day money...

3 Feet High and De La Soul is Dead changed my whole world view when they came out! I lost a lot of my record collection years ago, some in a flood, some to a bad break up. I was so excited to get this back in my collection.

The gods smiled upon me and my copy showed up with absolutely no damage. So stoked to spin this, a little bummed I missed De La is Dead though.

Thanks man. It was the first movie I remember watching that had music I listened to in it. Also I was totally in love with the Eat Me, Beat Me Lady!

So are you saying you’re willing to part with Buhloone? Because if so, I’m interested. As long as it’s more reasonable than Discogs prices.

I can assure you that @Enoch is not willing to part with any of his VMP records. he's a completionist whether or not he actually likes the music.

Hot take [a day late]: The irony here is that Sanders was doing the.most.hip.hop.thing.ever in actually attempting to praise the De La album and all of the hip hop fans were scandalized by it.

This 3 Feet High is so quiet that I keep thinking my receiver is turned off when I drop the needle.

The ONLY place I get noise is at the end of a couple sides, last about ten seconds of the track. Common issue with GZ pressings I find, but most of those sections are just skits anyhow so it doesn't matter in this case. Otherwise it sounds really good, and aside from being horribly horribly warped "Is Dead" sounds great too.
