And in the darkness bind them.

Counter point. Rhh and classics will get swamped by essentials. Look at the difference in post/page numbers of the three threads!

Good point, but it might also lift the post counts a little for the other tracks at the same time, e.g. you're in for the NATO banter, but get drawn into a chat about Eddie Floyd etc...

I do like the combined hints though, its given us another way to solve guesses using, I think, algebraic equations? with the three variables. (my right sided brain just asked WTF I was on about?)

Storf was on the forum yesterday saying today. It’s usually 9am there which tends to work out as 5pm here. Not sure what this is where you are!

Yeah, 9am there equals 2am the following day here. You would think being 17hrs ahead would offer some advantage.

Alarm is set, see you at 2am...

I advocated for the one guess thread to them all from the beginning, so I am definitely for it

I'd rather go back to the way it was. One thread is just too messy.

Also, can you make this the album thread (edit title and first post, etc) when you get a chance? Thanks.

Swapped this out for Archie Shepp, but will probably double back to this one sometime I want to swap an Essentials or Classics pick.

They cut the last 30 minutes of them trying to jam it back into the sleeve

Having a little picnic in the woods with your record player before playing drums by yourself blinded by the sunlight is THE way to enjoy music.

Did he build that drum set out of the trees he chopped down? There's clearly no trees in the drum scenes, so I'm led to believe this is a flash forward sequence.

Edit: theory confirmed - record sitting on a tree stump @ 0:50

You really need to try it. I have a Crosley Cruiser specifically for this purpose. It use to be two SL1200's, a DJM 4 channel pro mixer and a couple of flight cases, but the Crosley is much more my outdoor pace these days. Jazz, Soul and Blues sounds very good out in the sticks.

I just picture someone stumbling upon this scene, much like the two kids that stumble onto Captain Beefheart and his band recording Hair Pie as a ‘bush recording.’ At least Beefheart’s avant-garde recording outdoors was communal. I hope this is the first in a series of ‘hipster plays with himself in public while listening to a record videos’. Or maybe I don’t
