    Whether it is or isn’t a “bad” stereotype, it is an accurate one. It is very common for Latin American stations to hire attractive young women to read the weather.

    Well, I just got to work. It’s a ghost town in Durham. We’re on the outer edges of this thing. Sparse rain and some hefty gusts so far.

    We’ve had a total of like four impact us in two decades. Fran being the last of consequence and until yesterday this storm was very remnicent of that one. It’s really an unusual thing here.
