Yeah I mean I don't like seeing any movement but mines at a level that simply having it in my record stacks may flatten it out over time. I've found recently that some warps have been mellowed just from the natural pressure of sitting pressed between other albums in my collection. I'd heard that could happen, it hasn't flattened anything but it's definitely minimized some. My Cosmogramma is at a level that I think that may occur. That being said I still wouldn't hesitate to ask for a replacement if it bothered me.

Am I the only one still waiting for a shipping confirmation?

I know this is it what you want to hear but it’s completely worth the wait. (y)

OK so. The vmp version wider soundstage, better separation of instruments, and deeper bass, while the original still sounds pretty great some songs can feel compressed/muddy when a lots going on while the vmp feels cleaner. Original has better looking inner sleeves (cool transparent waxy paper), and better gatefold (feels slightly more study and less flimsy and thin then the vmp gatefold).

What you said. I like the sound of the VMP version over my other copy. The instruments breathe more, feels more dynamic. I remember my old version being exhausting to listen to at times.

The good - package arrived today! (y) The bad - Cosmogramma's sleeve is all unglued and janky!

    Replacement requested.

Went into this almost completely blind. I'm starting Side 'B' and absolutely loving it. This is one of the best VMP pressings I think they've done. Quiet, and sounds great. Only real complaint is that I can't tell which side is which. And not to sound picky/greedy, but would've really liked a tip-on jacket

It's annoying but you can see the side written in the deadwax on each side of the disc, I'm just doing that until I remember which is which. And yes, the flimsy jacket is unfortunate.

Late to the party, but I brought booze! Just received this today!

The cocktail fits the record perfectly... Both are very complex with many flavors and sounds coalescing together. Sometimes jarring, another sip could be sweet, and the next is bitter, then smoky goodness brings it all together.

    What @DSchlitz said:

Here is my slight alteration with a tad more mezcal.

Hmm, I have some mezcal that was left at my house. Might have to actually make a cocktail for once.

Also cheers to @sahomerrocks @GelloJive and @ThePakoBuelna for the Mezcal recommendations! I also picked up Montelobos Espadín to try. It is quite nice to sip, the bottle says the finish has notes of chocolate. I'm not a super taster, but I kind of get it. It's good!

I have to say, after a couple of listens, this is my favorite Essentials ROTM so far in 2019.

the first record on mine is also a little wobbly, but it plays fine and also only really affects the a side. I don't think it's worth doing anything about. The record sounds great and overall looks fantastic. (y)
