    Hey all,

I'm going to be upgrading my phono stage very soon, so I will be selling my six month old mint condition Lehman Black Cube Statement. It retails for $550 CAD, I'm selling it with all boxes materials etc for $390 CAD, which is approximately $300 USD for you Muricans.... I can ship it if need be, I'll split the shipping cost with you if you are outside Toronto. Its an excellent stage and has beautiful sound. Universal high reviews across the board. If you have any questions please let me know.

    Cheers

Folks, this is a very very fair price on a nice unit, a future (if not current) classic.

If you are on the fence about upgrading your situation, consider this a gentle nudge.

I'm HiFi Guy and I approve this message.

I’m a noob on the whole phono stage...(dont chastise me):)

If I have an orbit or at 120 plugged into my onkyo, what would this do for me ...again I’m a noob:)

It'll improve your sound- clarity, and well recorded albums will sound way better. The Lehman is a much more advanced circuit using much higher quality parts than what is built in to the Onkyo/ A/T or the UTurn (if you have the built in Orbit.)

@Crabbers , coming from an Orbit perspective that was running the on board Pluto when I first got it and then jumping to the Pho8, which was really noticable, you'll notice the difference pretty much from the get go with the Cube I would assume, and your getting it at a really nice price.

Its a nice opportunity if your looking to go that direction ;)

You could get Y cables, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Or run one through the pre to your Phono input and the other just directly to one of your other inputs on the Onkyo........ @HiFi Guy can check my theory, lol

That would work too, lol. Not sure how much of a hassle that would be, unless you run one more as your "Go to" TT and the other occasionally.........but, whatever works :)

should work as the one hooked up the pre-amp should connected to something other than the phono connection

This works too, but I'd go UTurn>Lehman> receiver and A/T> receiver.

Ha, I think my location scares some people off. Also I think the number of members who even run a phono stage in their setup is a lot fewer than what I would have originally thought. The fact that half the VMP unboxing videos feature a suitcase Crosley would tend to speak to this possibility... No worries. I'm not in any rush. Be nice to give it to a good home but if I have to throw it up for sale locally I will...

I like Ron's reviews, he's a no nonsense kind of guy. Noticed he reviewed the Cube a while back, thought it might help shed some light on it ;)
