Selling my 5 month old PLX-1000 ($799 new) with Denon DL-103 cartridge ($299 new), Jelco HS20 headshell ($60 new) and Herbies Way Excellent Mat 4mm/285 ($75) and KAB TD-1200 Tonearm dampener ($169). All total about $1400.

Table has been used for approx. 125 hours. Minor scuffs on the cover from normal use (see pic). Adult owned, non-smoking home. I have the original box, manuals, etc. Will be packed in original box, then bubble wrapped and packed in secondary box. I will have to drain the KAB dampener fluid. An extra syringe of the fluid can be obtained on the KAB website for $7.95.

This table really sounds great, it's just that I'm ready for the leap.

    Asking $900 or best offer.

I'm always jealous when I see your table!! As someone lower down in the alliance I think in a few years time that the S Arm version of either this or the Xperience9 will be my next jump!!

Honestly, a couple grand is enough money to really cause some buyers remorse. I am so glad that I did demos to help decide. Some of the options might surprise you. I really think it's worth the wait, but it is hard to resist the impulse buy.

Agreed. Even after doing all the research, asking all the questions and so on, the turntable sat in my cart for a good 30 minutes while I still worked through the thought process of spending $2k on a Turntable before hitting the purchase button. It's a big investment, and all kidding aside, you should really do ALL the homework you think you need to do before pulling the trigger on any turntable in this price range. Actually the thing I like most is that I've stopped looking at turntables..........cartridges on the other hand ;)

Agree, I'm really not even looking at TTs or carts now. I'm at a point where the next big things on the list are a better room and a new amp. But I'm absolutely at a point where my room is the biggest bottleneck in my system, and unfortunately more squarfootage isn't quite as affordable as most other upgrades.

I'll add that I've given serious thought to completely abandoning the concept of an office and converting that bedroom into a media room. It's smaller, but a much better shape potentially. But a lot of normal life things happen in there too.

This is a hell of a nice setup for 9 bills. The only caveat would be to make sure your phono stage has MC capability.

Good luck with your sale. Trust me I’ve been there with my PLX-1000 too when I upgraded to the Technics 1200-G.

Oh for sure I have maybe a 15 square foot space and it’s packed and I know I’m going to get rid of some of my collections to make space and expanding is not an option. As for my TT choice I’m not buying another one Ever. Technics has been my fave TT’s since the 90’s and I have a Marantz SR6008 so I’m not worried about the receiver....The only thing I may upgrade one day are my speakers.
