    Sup yall,

    To celebrate our October Essentials ROTM, we're asking our community to submit their own covers of any Townes Van Zandt song for a chance to win big with Vinyl Me, Please. We'll also be posting some of our favorites along the way and shouting you out from VMP socials. Help us commemorate the 50th anniversary of For the Sake of the Song by sharing the songs that mean so much to so many of us. Details below:

    That is disappointing, but I'll take free International shipping over the outside chance a video of me strum strum strumming and vocally murdering a Townes song wins any credit.

    This does seem like something @Vebberim should do. Didn't he do a wilco cover for a vmp contest?

    so far contributions look a little like a cjschaefer look-a like contest. ( well, the old cjschaefer, before he switched to that Piscatella look)
