yeah I mean, any trade is weighted in the direction of someone who got that record for free but on the other hand, secondary market for Chrvches is between 30-45 which is in the wheel house of some of those records.

Shucks people, I didn't specify it clearly, but I mentioned if someone wants to talk about the trade then hit me up. I would pay some cash towards an album along with the trade. I do a lot of trading with retro video games and in order to get something more rare, trading along with some cash that can make up for the prices usually works for folks.

On the other hand I have no problem selling this on Ebay since I can get a higher dollar amount which I would use the cash towards an album I'm really wanting on Discogs. Some people like trading more than buying, which is why I posted this here.

That is what people are asking, not what it is selling for, as in when a cheap one pops up it sells none of the pricey ones have sold

I've seen some go for 50 on Ebay. I check sold listings. Cheapest I saw was 35.

Ah, I don’t check eBay but the pattern I mentioned is what I have seen in the cogs

True. I still think Discogs is unnoticed by the newer record collectors, so Ebay is always the flocking ground.

And less accountable to accurate listings as I am sure people paying those prices don't realize there were 7000 of these and that 7000 is a really big pressing (I mean compare that to VMP exclusives numbers)

Older Beatles folk chiming in ;)

There is a difference between rare due to pressing (Modern Rare) and rare due to a lack of existence of mint copies.

I was with @eatdogs on the joke as I have gone to some thrift stores and places and seen absolutely insane prices on trashed Beatles records

Nearby one of the few indie stores we have called Monkey Feet Records was trying to sell a copy of Yesterday and Today that looked like it was in a house fire for around $300.00.
