Next year we'll likely launch a new track or two...what should it be?

*please note this poll is only for info gathering and doesn't guarantee we'll actually choose the one most voted for....but it certainly will inform our decision

the type of record that gets released on Numero, Now Again, Light In The Attic, Mr. Bongo, etc. - generally 60s/70s left of center stuff that beatmakers, collectors & adventurous music fans really dig - Wells Fargo would be an example, Ayalew Mesfin, Silvertones, Lafayette Afro Rock, Lightmen Plus One, etc.

Henri Texier - Varech would be the dream opener for that Crate Digger sub, for example ?

I would also vote for Country, but Rising and Crate got my votes. Sorry Storf.

Would the Classics sub generally focus on soul, blues and jazz then and leave stuff like Lafayette and Lightmen for Crate Diggers? Just thinking that those two albums in particular fill what I think of as a “Crate Diggers” record perfectly but seemed slightly out of place in the Classics sub.

I don't see a reason Classics can't be the home of some great Crate Digger records, but i'd still be a fan of it branching off into it's own sub. However I know Metal could bring a whole new audience to VMP, and even though i'm not a huge fan of the genre I voted for it. It seems more defined and unique than "Rising" or "Crate Digger"

I'm doing my part for the metal community.

Crate digger would be pretty sweet too, though that seems really broad.

Seems like the crossover between Classics and Crate Digger would be too broad. I'm team Rising and Electronic all day.

Metal and crate digger, although I would have quite happily voted for electronic as well. On reflection crate digger could be a bit similar to classics, but VMP shines for me when it/I take risks on unknown stuff, and that seems like the best place that would happen.
