Thank you for this. Much appreciated. I managed to get one on discogs for 50euro plus 6 euro shipping from Denmark. Also got Teyana Taylor Wu Tang Remix (LTD.800) too off Ebay so I'm now happyish with my haul. Few bits popping up on HHV I wouldn't mind but I'd be pushing the money this month

A vinyl got delivered for me today from UPS. I get my stuff sent to my mothers as always someone there she had to pay 41 something customs charges to UPS nearly 42.

I paid $27.99 for the vinyl and $9.99 for delivery so 37.98 Dollars total. Seems excessive the charge. Would you guys have any experience with this? Thanks

I believe that UPS also charges for "administration fees" (or whatever they call it) to handle tax payments, but that seems that's a lot still. Was there a cost/invoice on the parcel? Otherwise, they may have picked a random value and taxed you on that + fees.

I will have to wait till I see it. Yeah I believe now they charge 14.50 themselves but still seems excessive to me

    normally it goes as follows:
20% VAT on the value of the package (including courier costs)
    10€ An Post processing fees
    14.5 € UPS processing fees...

Harsh! I do find that those courier companies gouge the sticky pudding out of you on top of the 23% VAT...

I try, when ordering from US, to always use USPS because then it goes through An Post who are fairer if it does get picked up and there’s is a more than 50% chance that they’ll not check it and just let it go...

In other news, @Jmcg85 and also @apassant and @loughman any news on the March boxes? No change on my DHL status or news of its arrival. I just emailed Pauly again today!

    Still nothing :-/
I'm also worried about the April one as it says it's shipped, but the UPS tracker shows it's on its way to UPS, but they still don't have it... Pauly said I should have received an e-mail, but I didn't get anything.

UPS? Weird! Mine is still with DHL this month! Completed in origin last Monday so
hopefully should get through later this week unless we are on for a repeat performance!

@panino did you manage to get your replacement record that you were worried about last week?

    you are right.
    VMP travels with DHL.

and yes... it took a while but my replacement arrived on thursday (a whole 10 calendar days from being processed at departure).
It was for De La ...is dead, and the faulty copy has now gone into the PIF thread....
the offer lasted for a whole minute before it was grabbed...

    just a note on this.
I was dinged in the past by custom fees in relation to VMP shipments.
Firstly, it was a big box, and secondly I was asked by the An Post custom handler to provide the value of each record included (I was contacted via letter, and was asked to resond via email).
For the ROTM(s) I submitted the value of 0, and this was accepted.
For the other records I submitted the invoice from the shop.

No fees from DHL at all, since the package, once gone through customs, goes directly in the hands of An Post.
An Post charges 10 € (it could be 12€, I don't remember exactly) on top of the custom charges.
A sticker attached to the box/parcel, should be present to detail all charges.

Ah yeah I should have put 2 and 2 together when I saw that on the PIF thread! Hopefully your 10 day turnaround is a return to normal service (always used to be 7-10 days) and our March boxes were just an aberration!

And I’m surprised it lasted that long, that was definitely one of the most sought after exclusives I’ve ever seen on here! I should have 3 or 4 PIFs to offer myself in a month or two, just waiting for some purchases to come through!

I got Dogrel on Friday. Really enjoyed its first spin but I’ll have to get back to it soon, I got distracted by my RSD grabs on Saturday and I wasn’t listening to music yesterday!

I should have a few deliveries this week too...

Dogrel is excellent I cant turn it off. I called UPS and it turns out i was overcharged, it happened because Warner who sent my vinyl never stated I paid delivery so UPS charged me a full freight charge. They are looking into getting me some of it refunded back. Still no March box and April box scanned into sack on the 8th

I heard back from my email to Pauly. Looks bleak for the March box. Looking like they’re going to claim off DHL and then refund me, no records :(

I’d get emails into him if there is no sign of yours either!
