....has gone! This has been met by all feelings from delight to indifference to Ohhhh f*ck my OCD.

But I just thought of a practical problem (for me) regarding this. I used to tuck the art behind the J-Sleeve, but now where do we put the art and the sheet of bad poetry and cocktail recipe? In a gatefold, like with Person Pitch, you can slip them inside which isn't ideal but works, but what happens when it's not a gatefold month? Will I have to try and squeeze them inside the sleeve with the record? I need a solution. What does everyone else do? *

Also, just wondered what other changes we've got coming up regarding package presentation? @cjschaefer ? Anything cool things lined up to distinguish our AOTM from a normal exclusive?

On a side note, without the cocktail wraparound, if the album doesn't have a foil stamp, there isn't anything obvious to separate it out from a normal record. When I get my AOTM I like it to feel like a luxury item being delivered. :)

    * Edit, I've recently started using plastic outer sleeves so I guess I can tuck them inside there.

I think given all the AOTMs are organised well in advance.
We should have them all foil stamped - All of them 100% - Done. No excuses accepted.
TBH - Id like them numbered also - But perhaps VMP like to keep subscriber number close to their chest.....

Shit Ive got Album number 534,013 !

Art goes on the wall. Cocktail recipe/bad writeup goes into my miscellaneous drawer, never to be seen again. I love that it's no longer the J sleeve because they take up too much room.

I did cut my recipes from rest over the weekend (as mentioned on another thread)
at least it created a neater pile.
I still wonder if one day i have a vmp party with a version of each cocktail.....

    Cocktails and Dreams eh .

Yea I've always wanted to make a VMP cocktail book out of them, but I'm lazy so it probably won't ever happen.

Yeah, I use an outer sleeve on all the VMP albums, pretty much to hold all the detritus.

I like the J wrap. I keep all of the VMP AotM together and those wraps make them stand out and make them different.

I'd like to see the J card converted into an A, E, I, O or U card. I'm not paying $30 a month for a run of the mill consonant.

I keep all of them in a shelf in my office. I'm #TeamNoJCard because it makes it much easier to stack the art and cocktails together. Someday I might do something with them, but for now this is much better.

Run of the mill? You've seen the J's value in Scrabble right?

You just put everything in a outer sleeve like a Sleeve City Ultimate Outer 5.0. It ALL fits inside without a problem, including the J wrap. Easy.

Is this going to devolve into Coughlin's Law quotes?

Am I the only one that liked the J-sleeve? Actually I didn't love it; but I would cut the cocktail portion off and it fit nicely in an organizer over in my bar area. Now I am stuck with this huge piece of paper, where I can't easily separate the cocktail recipe out; because if a recipe is stored in an album...I'm just never going to access/make that. But if it is stored by my bar then the drinks will pour. Please change this!!

The cocktail presentation really needs work. I didn't like the wraparound either. Something postcard/recipe card size would make so much sense!
