Gonna feel weird spinning this for another 330 days
Of any Christmas music album this one seems the most acceptable to do that with though...
I hope the IC6 problems were a one off also ! Have you got the time to spin it yet ?
No, not yet, I am prioritising it though because of the last issues. I'll let you know.
As I love everything by that cool cat Jeff Goldblum, I have to follow his new jazz focused playlist in Deezer.
What is Deezer?
It’s a geezer with a D, or as we refer to him, @Yer Ol' Uncle D
My go to streaming service for bootlegs.
Same vein as the Gary Chandler a la Tidal Waves. It's been out before but here's the limited French edition. A bit too expensive with shipping to me, but perhaps you guys in France will be able to benefit @Skalap @ChristoBee
I'll listen to it, but it needs to be very very good for me to fork out 30€ on a single LP.
Very strange to see these indie shops releasing colored version of widely available records. Balades Sonores just did the same with
Even A Tree Can Shed Tears (partnership with LITA), available on white vinyl through Balades Sonores web shop.
It's not worth 30€ imo but seems to be what Tidal Waves are allowing their stuff to be priced. The regular black of Gary Chandler was also 30€ when first listed here.
The less and less I understand why so many colored variants are made for a same record... Oh wait... Money!
This is a great listen, cheers. I love the fiddle in jazz. Any sign of a record, please let us know.
If the quality of their music is this refined at their (presumed) young age, they've got a long road ahead of them.
Now I feel old and unaccomplished.
Honestly, the music sounds great, possibly the most dynamic I’ve heard from their LPs but I’ll be damned, there’s an awful lot of surface crackle between tracks and in quieter passages. Side 1 also has barely any runout so I’ll be interested to see if the sound suffers noticeably towards the end of We Three Kings...
Yeah, the records seemed packed with music. Which is good in a way. Fingers crossed that it is just a little bit annoying and no more than that.
Don't say such things, you're a damn great Colonel!
