I will take you up on that offer one day bud! It has been a long time since I visited Paris, I've been meaning to the last two years but due to the political climate (terrorist threats/yellow jackets) it always feels like a depressing time to visit such a lovely city.

It's not as bad as it seems. You just have to avoid a particular area but apart of that it's as safe as in any other big city. The worst thing in Paris at the moment is the weather.

I think there's also a bullmoose exclusive but I can't access it as the site is geo blocked but maybe that works for you!

Funny thing. I just sent an email to a Discogs seller located in Germany about Bamboo, I was asking him what could be his best price and telling him that Mr Bongo was going to reissue this album very soon. Price was 240€, 2 minutes after my email the price dropped to 89€.

So the Sam Rivers - Contours album isn't really doing it for me :(

I think those are below the average price point for this series so far ?

Looks like a decent deal to me.

Worth just mentioning to anyone looking to pick these up in the UK that once they become available from the Jazzman website they will be £18.99 each with free shipping over £50. So pop anther in the bag and its actually really well priced for a 4lp set across 2 vols.

Yeah been streaming it a bit and canceled my preorder. Can't spend any money for a very good record but that I won't listen.

I did the same. I wish there were the same deal for Wayne Shorter's record...or any Pure Pleasure Tribe/Strata-East reissue :p

Not sure if anyone has heard of these guys before but the single they have released is pretty damn good. Starts off with electronic mixed in then folds out to pure jazz and back again. Im enjoying it so far but am also supposed to be cutting back on purchases....

My plan for tonight is actually to listen to the first Tone Note record I have followed by an old Jackie Chan film.....so this is oddly relevant.

    New Snarky Puppy track.

Fingers crossed the new album is on the way this year. If so count me in!

Is a really great album - I much prefer the vinyl track listing to the digital version too

The more I listen to Seed Emsemble’s Driftglass, the more stunning it becomes. Wonderful album with great playing by all concerned. Really like Sarah Tandy’s piano
    - looking forward to her debut which is supposed to be out very soon too
