    Also if you want a good laugh almost any of the Woodstock 99 shows are on YouTube and are delightfully terrible

    Also this is an incredible Dave Brubeck performance. There's a moment right at 9:15 that the drummer blows my mind every time. Just with style hah. Great German camera angles too

    The picture quality is exceptional. This has got to be featured on on the Jazz Icon DVD sets. As interesting as The Brubeck Quartet's explorations of time signatures could be, sometimes they sounded a little "square," or "academic," but then Paul Desmond's fragile, airy tone on the alto brings energy to the quartet.

    Yes, a Dead cover, but oh my...

    If you haven't heard of these musicians - Joe Russo, Marco Benevento, Tom Hamilton, Dave Dreiwitz, and Scott Metzger - see any of them anytime they come within 50 miles of your town, either as a group or individually.
