    Day 10 - 10 out of 10

    Fleetwood Mac - Rumours

Please excuse my beat up copy. This is actually the first record i ever bought and i got it for a buck at a yard sale.

My copy is signed by the actress Lily Rabe. Her character in season 3 of American Horror Story made me wanna take a deep dive into Mac's discography, ao when i meet her i just had to have her sign my copy.

Not only would i rate this a 10 out of 10 but this is my favorite album of all time

    Day 10 - 10 Outta 10

    Black Sabbath - Paranoid

This is the record that got me to join VMP. It was when I just got back into collecting and was looking for a good used copy at the time, then a VMP ad hit my Facebook scroll. I figured I was just joining for a month...hilarious. But really, I'm so glad I stuck around.

I'm admittedly a bit sick of Iron Man all these years later, but that doesn't take away from the perfection of this record.
    It's a 10 out of 10 for me.

    Day 10

As much as I say that this club’s business side can bum me out, it did reawaken the beast that is my voracious musical appetite. Between the forum and the great curation here, I probably listen to more music than ever. As usual Spotify and apple’s algorithms can’t figure me out, but this place being all of you and our overlords at @vinylmeplease , you get me.

Anyhow, just earlier this year, the club introduced me to my all time favorite album. So I’m kind of forever indebted to them and will push for them to do better.

Anyhow this one goes up to 11.;)

Day 11: This sounded like such a neat idea so lets do it again. Play a record that to you relates to the one spun by the person who posted AFTER you yesterday

Carrying on with the theme of a strong female in the band. Lisa Walker is an understated powerhouse. There's something about her that just draws you in like a Star Trek tractor beam. As if a Technics reel to reel T-shirt wasn't enough.

Everyone go buy a Wussy record. Thanks.

I can remember where I was and how it felt the first time I heard it.

It has always been neck and neck with The Bends.

@waitressboy spun Tori Amos - Choirgirl Hotel. I have a couple albums in mind, one that plays of the "choirgirl" and one that plays of of "hotel."

    This lines up pretty well....

I'll go with Chvrches - Love is Dead

Of course I was going to get a jazz record :D:D:D
But this one is a more than adequate option. I know I'm a complete illiterate (sp?) when it comes to jazz, but I've read lots of places that Joni has always been a jazz singer (and a poet. And a painter). And this album is Blue, and that's more blue than just kind of blue. And my hair is blue. And I'm blue dabadi dabada...

@Yer Ol' Uncle D posted The Velvet Underground and Nico. Both albums have banana visuals.

Day 11: Follow You, Follow Me, Part 2.

The post following my Day 10 post of Tool was...

I have plenty of Zappa/Mothers/Related to play, but I was thinking of putting this comp/sampler on the other day and didn't...so here's my chance.

    Various ‎– Zapped
    Bizarre Records/Reprise Records ‎– PRO 368, 1970

I love Moonshake video game bootlegs. He does great classic album cover parodies.

Be prepared to pay a pretty penny. They're small, one-time runs {think 500} and there's a high demand because they're high-quality and Nintendo obviously isn't pressing them. And I just noticed because they're bootlegs Discogs bans the selling of them! Looking at eBay most of them seem to go for at least $100 second-hand, no idea if they're still being made…

They're not. He doesn't do represses. I will say here however, his next planned one that I know about is Metal Gear in January.

I meant whether he was still making new ones rather than continue to press old ones, sorry. Good to hear he's still doing them, though!

    {My friend has the Pokémon one, second-hand but before prices climbed too much. From first-hand experience I can tell you they are worth the asking price.}

My bad. Yeah, he's a regular in a group I'm in on FB. His prices on his site are great $25 a record. I actually found the DKC one used at a local shop for $30 so I lucked out there.

Day 11 - Following the Follower

Soul Makossa is my favorite classics release to date. So I'll follow that with my second favorite:

The Lightmen Plus One - Energy Control Center
