2016 Summer Tour announced today, came here figuring there would be a thread about it. Couldn't find one so searched for the Phish thread. Couldn't find one...maybe I'm blind. :D

Two nights at Wrigley Field in June? Sign me up!

Also was watching this end of Izabella funk jam -> Twist today has got me all excited.

they're playing minneapolis/st. paul for the first time since 2000, so i'm stoked for that. already put in my tickest request earlier today. saw them here in '99 and '00, then at the two bonnaroos they've played since the resurrection. but i'm excited to have them on my home turf again. the xcel is a pretty great arena for concerts, too, all things considered.

i'll be doing two nights at wrigley this summer, too, but not for the phish - pearl jam are there this year in august.

They seemed reinvigorated last summer, hope they build on the great playing recently!

Put in requests for Syracuse. Last summer / Magnaball was great, as well at New Years run.

Vinyl related, I've had a sealed copy of Story of the Ghost that I been sitting on for a few years. Its definitely the most rare record I own. Someday soon the occasion will call for sitting down with some friends and cracking it open.

So hard to choose, but Possum, and Weekapaug for sure.

    Two of my go to's:

    Possum 5.17.92
    Groove 4.21.93

i found a copy of story of the ghost for $50 on record store day a couple years ago. it was at a new shop that was too new to be able to get rsd exclusives, but they certainly tried to make up for it with the stock they did have. it did have a pretty good scratch at the end of meat into guyute that is audible, but other than that it was a clean copy and i just couldn't pass that up. a pretty exciting find.

i'll give it up for phish and their vinyl reissues - they've done it right. i always scoff at the price when they're announced, but once those records are spinning and i hear how good they are the disappointment of dropping $50/$75 for a single/double lp goes away pretty quickly.

I'd be thrilled if I found SOTG, nice one Andy.

Agreed, the reissues have been pricey and I've only gone for Nectar so far, but they all sound fantastic. NYE 95 especially sounds so much better than the CD copy.

I need to cave and get Rift soon!

    Don't think I'd heard this Possum before...holy...

Love all the teases they did back in the early 90's, very fun. Wish they'd bring a bit of that back.

I had a buddy at magnaball nab me the festival version of Rift. The water colored wax is gorgeous. I'm probably going to hit Syracuse just because it's near some friends and there are no NYC shows and also, never miss a Sunday show!

i liken that ghost vid to a movie like shawshank redemption - whenever it pops up, you can't help but watch it.
