There’s a handful of people that do that. I’m not one of them, personally, but the theory probably holds. That said, with decent outers and not cramming too many records on a shelf I don’t have ringwear either. It’s just another option, but I wouldn’t say the difference is enough to make me change how I do things either.

That is how I mail records though.

I do this with albums that start to get a bit chunky, meaning dbl and triple lp issues. Just a pain cramming all that back in the pockets, much easier to pull and play with the inner's outside the jacket, but inside the outer sleeve, IMO. As @Corycm mentioned though, if you don't squeeze too many albums into whatever your storing them in you shouldn't have any issue, all boils down to preference.

I think my issue could be how tight my records are stored. I don’t have any lean in my Kallax...

I think if you can slide them in and out without taking the record next to it along with it you should be good.

I store them on the outside of the jacket in the outer sleeve, not for ringwear purposes (although this is an added benefit) but for ease in pulling out. I don’t have to fiddle with the outer and VMP tip ons are as easy as any other. Just be sure to store the records with the inner sleeve opening to the side to prevent dust from gathering on the record.
    This.

I don’t either. But I leave enough space that I can reasonably put my hand flat between two records and the others compress on either side.

I do this. But mostly because I hate jamming inners back into sleeves, and I hate jamming a sleeve back into an outer.

Are the Deluxe Oversized Ultimate Outers ever going to come off of back order?

Does anyone else get slightly annoyed when your Sleeve City order "ships" but really the label was just created and it doesn't start moving until like 3 days later?

I mean TMR decided it was a good idea to print my label last week to ship on 6-4. At least sleeve city doesn’t take that long.

I wasn’t waiting on a code but I do need to order sleeves which required payday to happen which is Friday, so this works to my benefit

I got my outer sleeves yesterday and used the last one of my Mofi sleeves last night. So I could have waited for the code.

@6od @mcherry Note: with the Biggie one I've pulled out the sleeves a little bit to show it better, they fit perfectly otherwise. _MG_4607 (2).jpg _MG_4608 (2).jpg _MG_4610 (2).jpg _MG_4612 (2).jpg
