Looks like it's been taken off the list on the site so you could be correct. Damn.
I don't even think Picture Discs look all that good either. I'd rather have full cover art. And the PVC sleeves are terrible.
The sleeves are the biggest problem, imo.
I only have 1 picture disc in my collection. It sounds ok.
I have 3... 2 because they are U2 and 1 Moana one for my daughter. None of them sound absolutely terrible but you can hear a low rumbling sound when you start it that for the most part the music drowns out. But they're such a pain to get back in the sleeve and a record rubbing against PVC just doesn't seem good.
One of the only picture discs I own is the BoJack Horseman soundtrack ... It sounds good to me, but it also doesn't have a clear sleeve.
I actually caught them 2 summers ago in a small club with roughly 100 people in attendance. Strange times. Even stranger, it was probably the most polite crowd I've been around.
I also have 1. Sounds ok, but it stops there.
When it was up for sale on the Fader earlier this year they were trying to charge $100+ as well. If it’s similar pricing it can stay on the shelf imo.
(Suppose these could be originals presses? https://shop.thefader.com/products/...y-tardust-ltd-ed-dbl-lp?variant=7786728980508)
HOW DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS
and it’s going for exorbitant prices online. i’m crushed.
Lakeshore posted on their Instagram today that a repress is coming
It came out about a year ago ... I don't remember when I pre-ordered it but it arrived in November.
What an emotional rollercoaster
just like the show.
this is still my desktop wallpaper:
that a shot from the same scene is used for the pic disc just makes me want one that much more. it's a curious choice for a shot to use on a mass produced picture disc. only people who watch the show know how heartbreaking that scene is.
The B-side art is awesome, and contains the musical score to the "Fish Out Of Water" episode (plus the closing credits song by Oberhofer)
I hope this means Collective Soul's 2nd self titled album will be getting a vinyl issue soon. I need that guilty pleasure in my life like yesterday.
Yes, this was a staple growing up...way more than the first
BullMoose has it listed for $29 on their RSDBF page
