What price did VMP declare per record? I'm in Canada so I could end up in the same boat...
I didn't record the breakdown, but the total for the three was 33 USD
That might be ok.
i think that will give us 2 records per month without customs charges if they are going to price them all at $11.
I can live with that.
Still no updates for my friend. Doubt he will sign up for another month with VMP since he still doesn’t have a shipping email and no one’s responded to his email to customer service. I dmed Amy Maher on Wednesday but no response - maybe she’s out of office or something, which is obviously fine, but just not sure what else to do.
We can try tagging @vinylmeplease and see if that does anything. But it’s the weekend.
Thanks, yeah. I don’t want to come off as a demanding jerk, but I also feel bad telling my friend “I know you paid $50 [for 3 feet and cookie mountain] like a month ago and haven’t heard anything at all since then, and a bunch more people will be ordering whatever copies are still left of the De La album when it goes live in the store and swaps on announcement day (in 5 days), but let’s just wait and trust that nothing bad will happen. Let’s interpret the lack of response to your questions as the company just working so hard to help you get your record that they don’t have time to respond to your email to confirm that you’re actually going to get what you paid them for.”
You and your friend are completely in the right here. Just shows how gross lack of communication can even deter new customers. Hope your friend gets their records.
So 11 each. That's not bad. That means for us in Canada 2 should make it under the limit...
So this is how they are shipping records now??
mine were also wrapped in bubble wrap, probably depends on the packer and how much they care
I've never had that happen but honestly HOW IS THIS SO F*CKING HARD JESUS F*CKING CHRIST ON A POGO STICK
someone received extra records, wonder if this is where they came from
I am pretty some of worker just don't care, hence the things that were obviously already damaged being sent
I am not as deeply ingrained in this community as some, so I am asking this sincerely, what is their justification for the current customer service response time? That is abysmal for any sized company.
I think a lot of it stems from the fact that they've only had two support people on staff for the last couple of months, although I understand that they have hired a third person recently. Still, it's a relatively low amount for such a big company.
Yeah...it doesn't seem like they have kept up with company logistics/scaling as the membership has increased. Quality control and customer service as taken a big hit in the last 6 months or so.
The album picks have been great...it's all the rest that we have had issues with.
Anyone here know what this means?
OH THAT'S REAL BAD, OH MAN...
It just means it's in a closed shipping bag and is en route.
That’s how mine were.
