SHIPPING INFO - How it works, and what to do if things go wrong

    @vinylmeplease

    I do have a practical question here. My Liquid Swords Deluxe Art box has the same shipping number as the rest of my box (18 other records) but that Deluxe box is huge, and there is no way it would ever fit into even the biggest VMP box... So... How does it have the same shipping number? Are we positive that this actually is the deluxe box?

    I don't think they would give different numbers even if there were multiple boxes as it is still considered one shipment (that's what happened for me last month with the poster)

    +1 to the below comment. I've had a few shipments from different places that were in multiple boxes but had the same tracking number

    Sent in an email this morning; still no shipping notice. The notice has occasionally gone out between 10p-2a PDT on the day it shipped, so I waited an extra day to check in. I did wake up to a notice that they'd submitted the charge for The Goon Sax, so at least I'm still paying them for records ;) All the records I expected to ship still say "processing" on my account page.

    Noting that I don't want anyone to be put in harm's way just to be shipping me records, and the relative pace of SmartPost, I'll just expect to receive 2 boxes in October. As long as I eventually receive everything I ordered, then I'm resigned to how it will go.

    Ah, I didn't check the September Store thread first; too much shipping talk there for August purchases :) I'm in the CS queue now, so will just let it play out.

    7 to 10 inches and 30 mile gusts is the best guess from my disaster coordinator.

    No shipping notice or informed delivery. I’ll wait until Tuesday to email. I really don’t want them to move right now. They can stay where they’re at.
