Just start from the beginning and work your way up. I feel that you will appreciate their work more that way.

Just revisiting KM, KM, KM and I have really been missing it. It´s all over the place musically, in a good way :)

First track "The Kiss" especially had slipped my mind how great it is, with the close to 4 minutes "intro" before Robert starts singing.
    Oh, and that beautiful "Catch"...

And she used to fall down a lot
    That girl was always falling
    Again and again
And I used to sometimes try to catch her
But never even caught her name

This should have been included in Mixed up/Torn Down.

Why do people never talk about Bloodflowers?

Because they’re silly. Bloodflowers is great, though it took me a few years to recognize that.

I feel like it should be canonized as the great late period Cure record

I've been doing a bit of a Cure rabbit hole lately and I just remembered when I read "The Stranger" by Albert Camus in college and it clicked that "Killing an Arab" was about that story. I was such a nerd, I was so excited to tell my professor, lol.

I read something recently where Smith said something about reclaiming that song which is why they played the original version last summer for like the first time in years. It had been an edited version for so long I was quite shocked when I heard they changed the lyrics back. I think it’s a bad decision tbh. Cure fans know the intent of the song but racist assholes don’t and I’d hate for the racists to sing along gleefully.
