Take it with a pinch of salt, but it seems her new album will be released this summer (that would be winter here in the south).
You neve know with Fiona, but this comes from the same guy who posted about the remasters of Kate Bush so... Maybe that why When The Pawn is not released yet, maybe they're waiting for the new album so they can do both (yeah honey, keep on dreaming)
New single from Backyard Babies
I won't hold my breath for this, but goddamn that would be amazing.
Lucy Dacus covering 'La Vie En Rose'? Day just got better.
What a fantastically random entry this would make for Sounds Delicious.
A song by this artist showed up in my weekly discover playlist. I went ahead and added both her eps to my que for the day... she lives in that space between jazz and r&b like Kadhja Boney:
This is a catchy tune.
**edit** Frank Ocean was hacked, back to starving
What does it all mean??
Another new Bayonne (aka Roger Sellers) tune from the forthcoming album. Have really enjoyed all 3 pre-release tracks from this one. I think it comes out in the next 2 weeks or so. Have a very good feeling that this is going to be one of my favorites of the year.
More Tim Hecker coming soon(ish)
Man, I can't wait to hear this new Moving Panoramas album. All 3 pre-release tracks have been great. Just a Soundcloud link so far for this one. Matthew Caws from Nada Surf is on this track. The guitar work here has a bit of a Cure vibe, but the song overall is the dreamy side of shoegaze.
I like this a lot
Going to their release show on the 22nd. Have you ever listened to their first album? I liked it at first, but the more I've listened to it the more I've grown to love it. And I think this 2nd one sounds like it could be even better.
No, I haven’t heard it but I’m gonna make a note to do so.
I had loved the title track, 'One' when I first heard it on the radio, but my first reaction to the album as a whole was that it all sounded very similar. It was a sound I like a lot, but the songs didn't distinguish themselves from one another right away. The more I listened to it, the more the individual songs began to stand out from one another. Never had that happen in such a clear manner before that album.
Lovely new track from Jenny Lewis' upcoming album:
