Good question. I'm like 90% sure I do straight up an down. I'll have to pay more attention next time I do one. I seem to remember I tried it on a angle before and it didn't work too well but when I switched to straight up and down it made a huge difference.

Angle to spread the solution, straight to scrub-a-dub-dub. I love the bubbles ;)

I guess I'll try to get some bubbles on a beater record. I think I have a Hall and Oates $1 record somewhere...

All right, you all convinced me. I caved and bought the TTVJ 2 oz concentrate. I think I'm getting a brush with my Squeaky Clean, do I need another brush as well? One for spreading, one for agitation?

    One brush works fine.

This is true but the brush that comes with the Squeaky Clean is similar to a Mofi style brush and it's not as easy to agitate with it as if it had bristle.

Oh, then totally agreed- I use a single bristle brush.

I'm still using this one. It's passable, but I have no doubt in my mind a bristle one will work better. I honestly don't know why I haven't gotten one yet.

I joined the Squeaky Clean club last week - slowly making my way through every record I own. Have to say it's an extremely satisfying process! The amount of crud I've pulled up is shameful!

Got my ttvj concentrate and did a little cleaning today. Seems like it did a really good job based on what I can see. Unfortunately I can't test the records I cleaned because of the surprise damage to my cart and I need to realign. But I'm excited to hear the results.

I'll know more tonight. I'm going to realign and check VTF before doing a test spin.
