So are y'all telling me that nobody is interested in this amazingly heartfelt Country Rock record produced by Jason Isbell himself?

LOL I love that we are resorting to "Guys! My PIF is really good. Validate my PIF!"

For real though, someone snag this.

I think it is more of a PIF balance maintenance thing. Some of us with small collections do not have the ability to keep our balance positive if we take too many. And those with large collections that can PIF tend to have many of the albums up on offer already :D

I am so behind on listening that I am holding off requesting any, and also looking closer at my buying in 2019.

That said... I ordered the Daughters double LP off eBay yesterday.

It's an awesome album. I spin my copy pretty regularly.

I have a couple of issues, one, with the "Quality over Quantity" mindset I'm not really rolling the dice on too many albums anymore. Even with new to me artists I'm trying to listen to their discography a bit before picking it up.

Secondly, I'm still ahead on my PIFs, and with point one in place I'm only jumping on things I really want.

Combine those two and that's why, for me, the PIFing has slowed down :)

That being said, there are some great PIFs that I'm not really sure why are not being grabbed by someone.

I thought this was a Massive Attack Heligoland remix album based on that cover art!

This a must own for any collection. I'm amazed by the records that go unclaimed on the PIF thread sometimes.

That would be a good thing! Going to see Massive Attack in the spring with Liz Frasier singing!

Reviews of Daughters are quite good.

Some days I feel like throwing her up for grabs. Today is not one of those days.

In addition to the above, 5 of 6 of which are unclaimed, I present the following PIFs:

    1) The Beatles - Rock ‘n’ Roll Music, Volume 2: Record is VG+(maybe two pluses) and sleeve is probably VG if not better. I don’t like compilations a ton and I’m not the hugest Beatles fanatic, so my other two Beatles compilations on vinyl will suffice.

    2) The Beatles - 1962-1966: Capitol pressing. Duplicate so I haven’t listened to it, but appears to be just a few blemishes here and there. Sleeve is in good shape.
    B1D18BA9-CC54-43DB-8F8C-00CEA1F94A89.jpeg
    3) Aersomith - Self-Titled Debut. Looks VG-VG+ all around, some writing on side 2 of the label.
57E84A8A-E2AC-4E74-ABB0-F6EF3255D610.jpeg 4) The Who - Quadrophenia: An MCA repressing. Sleeve has seen better days, there are two splits on the top of the gatefold, some dirt on the interior. Includes the full booklet, which is in really good shape. Discs look only to have a few blemishes, no visual major issues. Another duplicate.

    5) The Who - Live At Leeds: Another duplicate, this one is a 1980 MCA pressing. Looks to be in very good shape all around.

Good morning PIFers. Recent repress. Has a slight wobble but plays clean.
