Hell yes! This made my day
The new location in Norfolk was pretty great, too. There was a much bigger crowd than the old place in Virginia Beach, my only suggestion: bring your own set of speakers next time, because those house speakers at Smartmouth ain't cutting it.
@green.bean no Norfolk for Mavis this month?
I don't see Toronto either...
Hey @green.bean , is there no Toronto Spins this month? Hoping it wasn't a one-and-done.
Updated event listings here.
Antikka and Smartmouth are still a-go!
Hey @green.bean is there an updated Spins list for this month? Just checking to see if it’s returning to Smartmouth in Norfolk.
not sure if there's a more comprehensive list than the FB event, but here. I think I'll be at the San Antonio one, if anyone is around!
Why is it so hard to confirm where and when the spins is? I guess I know it’s march 14 but the location is not available to find anywhere
It should be on Facebook or you could ask @green.bean
Facebook seems to have all the locations.
We always create a monthly FB event listing! Also updated here.
Ok so the map is better in a way than facebook, but both have problems.
On Facebook I only see four events.
The map shows the Brooklyn location in New Jersey. I’ve been to one once at Bierwax so I know it’s not in NJ. I guess that confirms it’ll be at Bierwax tho so that’s helpful.
I can’t find that page but thanks that’s what I’m looking for!
what happened to the minneapolis one? i could never go because it was on thursdays, but i didn’t realize it was gone altogether.
so if I went to the Tabula Rasa bar this thurday I could hear De La Soul and meet sexy singles in my area?
@green.bean so is the Spins in Norfolk officially dead? Is there... something I can do to volunteer it back into existence?
Hey- will work on the map this week. Every month we (VMP) creates a "general" FB event with all cities listed, times included. Here's that event for March- http://bit.ly/2IToniF
Looks like this usually happens at literally the closest bar to my house, like a 3 minute walk. I guess I should check it out.
You absolutely need to check it out. The SPINS is like a monthly geek-out fest for music lovers, and there's alcohol and record drawings!
