It’d be funny if there was a Nicolas Jaar type feature that they didn’t tell us about.

    Omg you’re right!

I just looked at the cover and thought it was a woman because the cover is pretty feminine with the roses hiding the face and Toulouse sounds more like a female artist just looking at the name!

I’ll give him a listen now. Looking forward to hearing this EP :)

Yeah. It's pretty good. I think you'll probably like it.

You can listen to it on the Terrible Records bandcamp

I think I like Toulouse's 'Extended Plea'. I feel like it will grow on me like Ness Nite's 'Dream Girl' did. The album is very busy and has a modern, contemporary digital sound, but Toulouse is very soulful. My favourites are Hurtin, San Junipero and Man From Pennsylvania. The EP isn't in store anymore but at least I really enjoyed some of the tracks from the EP :)

Saw her play in NY to a very small crowd. Probably most of the people were her friends. You could tell it was disheartening...She told everyone to come in closer at one point. Still, she nailed it and I can def see her hitting some festivals or something and gaining some major fans.

Also I’m waiting on a Toulouse TBT. That album’s great

That would’ve been awesome seeing her at NY to an intimate crowd. Even I went “awwwwwww” when you said she told the crowd to come in closer. I’m sure people who like Kelela, NAO and Kali Uchis will enjoy her music. But her music isn’t as accessible because it’s quite futuristic, like her music sounds like a swirl/whirlwind.

She’s waiting to be discovered to the large audience. I have a strong feeling she will become big, it’s just her music is very ahead of its time.

I re-listened I Toulouse and I want get his EP now. I might ask VMP if they have any spare copies I can buy!

I would’ve never known what ‘LMK’ stands for if it wasn’t for the Kelela song ‘LMK’ lol

I like The Lightmen but would probably prefer a whole Thomas Meloncon album, and I don't want to hear about how one doesn't exist

I was shocked by how much I loved this album. I knew I’d like it: I added it on to my subscription, after all. But... damn.

I absolutely love it. It may be as good as Archie and the streaming doesn’t even come close. I’m gonna spend a lot of time with this album.

It is surprising how often I spin an album on vinyl for the first time that I am very familiar with from CD/mp3/radio and say "WOW." Love those moments.

I try to go in blind and did here. I listened to it at work today and was like “holy shit, vinyl makes this shine.” I mean the vinyl is just transcendent.
