Hey, I live in Huntington Beach. Love Port of Sound in Costa Mesa and Fingerprints in Long Beach. I'll def check out the next beat swap in Santa Ana.

I live in Anaheim Hills. I really like the Buena Park Record Show as well.

    Downtown Anaheim for me.

Many good record stores nearby in Anaheim and Fullerton.

I worked in Anaheim for almost 20 years and never went to any record stores there. What would you recommend?

For Punk and Metal (mostly vintage and rare, but some new too - huge selection), I would recommend Radiation records (pukevomitrecords.com) on Raymond Street just north of the 91.

Also not far, mostly new punk/rock would be Programme Skate and Sound in Fullerton. They also have concerts in their tiny shop as well as sell skateboards and stuff. They are at Chapman and State College.

There is a new “high end” goodwill store called Rare on center street in Anaheim. Obviously all used, but have found some good stuff there cheap. They have record players (cheap Crosley’s) set up so you can demo any of the records.

Burger records in Fullerton has a little bit of everything. More main stream stuff though.

Bionic records on Lincoln (and Beach?) has lots of new and classic rock. Small place, but good for used stuff.

I did go to that Rare store once but really didn't find anything ... I'm in northern California now but come down to visit family when I can. I'll have to check some of these out.
