Yah it’s their MO really.
True I like jumping back to the first page to keep up
I would kill for this.
Speaking of Slug....
It's not an anniversary and it would probably be a long shot, but the only 2000's Atmosphere "album" that hasn't been reissued is The Lucy Ford EPs. Which I would abso-freaking-lutely add on. MF DOOM was just the RHH selection in June tho so I'd be kind of surprised if its another Rhymesayers record.
Agreed and True but that pressing was hot sticky garbage... I would welcome a nice clean repress
Scarface - The Fix
Noone talking about Common? A pressing of Be would be clean, or maybe Renaissance by Q-Tip?
really? I thought I saw someone on discogs saying it was bad too. I think it sounds decent. I haven't heard the og press.. although Amoeba had it last time I was there..
'El-P - I'll Sleep When You're Dead' would be a great pick.
They need more Rhymesayers issues. They got Food so, why not E&A?
I'd be happy with an equal amount of Rhymesayers to Cash Money VMP albums.
Rhymesayers does a solid job releasing most of their albums. Some E&A would be amazing though and By The Throat is in need of a re-press.
Oh if theirs a vinyl or hip-hop god out there somewhere please make this happen
Qtips Renaissance & Amplified are two very slept on hip-hop albums. I need both on vinyl. Be is incredible but I have a copy
Amplified would be an AMAZING VMP press!!!
Ghostface: Supreme Clientele would be a giant get and is probably the best album of the early aughts imo.
Haiku D'etat: self titled would be a great underground choice that 's in desperate need of a repressing
and this is an even longer shot The Roots: Phrenology or Tipping Point would be fantastic, both need represses
They already had a Common pick and the idea is not to double up on artist within the same track
Supreme Clientele would be incredible and from what I have seen, I don't think they have had a R&HH ROTM from a Wu-Tang Clan member yet.
The coolest thing that would fall under 2000s rap would be if they managed to do an official pressing of Graduation by Kanye West.
To all of this
This would be amazing and by far the biggest RHH album to date, feels like if it ever happens Kanye will do it himself.
Yah I don't actually think that Graduation is this month's ROTM, but a man can dream haha.
