I'd love Graduation and would love it more on vinyl, but Kanye isn't at his most bankable atm.

Give me El-P's Fantastic Damage pls.

I totally agree, but they pressed Goodie Mob, and Cee Lo actually did something awful, Kanye has just said awful things.

It's not going to happen, but I think it would go over well around here

Cee Lo did his awful stuff 4 years though. Not in the last few months. All about timing.

I feel pretty certain that VMP could move 7-10k copies of a Kanye album this week. It's not like he stopped selling music this year, on the contrary!

Both of these are fair points, I lean towards the idea that the reports of Kanye's cancellation are greatly exaggerated.

Yah even with all of the bullshit, there is little doubt in my mind that a first vinyl pressing of Graduation would sell out quite fast. Now, if VMP didn't want to entertain the idea because of recent events, I would understand and support them 100%.

Edit: Comparing this situation to Cee Lo's is absolutely ridiculous. They aren't the same thing in the slightest.

Yeah I remember seeing somebody post the sabapivot.shop link over on r/VinylReleases the other day, highlighting it still being in stock there despite being sold out on VMP. Don't think it lasted 24 hours after that link was posted.

Seriously! This album has so much more sonic depth than the version on Spotify does. I love spinning it. Always hear new sounds

Mark me down as being foolish. :-\

EDIT -- Had to look what I swapped for, and I swapped for Noname - Telefone. I'm totally fine with that.

Anyone got an extra SABA to share?

I never look at the listed price, some people throw albums up at insane prices with no real intention of selling. Look at the prices the album last sold at (in this case one in December sold for $57 M/M) for a more accurate estimate as to the price. I get it though, no one is selling one at that price right now, but it helps you avoid overpaying for a record.

definitely true in general, but that last one sold at the lower price happened a good 10 days before it sold out everywhere else (and even then, the $57 is more than what it cost everywhere else.) prices will prob level out a little down the line, but prob not back to those prices anytime soon.
