Munchies hitting hard, so I'm plowing through a bag of nachos with sour cream. (needs chives).
“The Bar Gin” brand I’m drinking now is acceptable ,but the most famous Gin in the Philippines is called Ginebra San Miguel and it is even cheaper then 60 pesos a bottle and it’s the nastiest stuff on earth lol Also that Ginebra Gin is the best selling Gin in the world apparently lol
I f*cking love gin. That's why I make my own. My favourite gin, without a doubt, is my own. I would recommend to anyone to get themselves an airstill and start distilling!
My favourite shop bought gin is probably one of the local craft ones, but more widely available stuff... hmmm maybe monkey gin?
I brew my own beer. (¡American Porter for the Win!). Never would've thought of distilling my own Gin. I've got homework to do.
Dooooo it! Any questions, give me a shout.
Amazing. What an amazing evening. I can't get in trouble any more for coming home late pissed out my head and falling asleep with my head in the toilet. Or when I get so hungover I can't leave the house the following day. Those days are gone.
I have never come home so drunk that I've been sick on myself, the sofa and the floor.
I gleefully informed her of this fact as she giggled herself to sleep on our (now soggy) sofa as i took her shoes off and tucked her in under a blanket.
I'm still getting the feel for gin. I've enjoyed Deaths Door and have been making g&ts with Jack Rudy tonic syrup.
Tonight is starting with some scotch. Nothing good just the trader joe's single malt, which is fine for tonight.
And I'm not counting out a nice hot mug of peppermint tea later...
I’m mad that I live in a state that you can’t buy liquor in a supermarket. I have a friend who lives in Illinois and he says the Trader Joe’s scotch is amazing. I really wanna try it.
Costco's Kirkland brand booze is also very good, I hear.
Hendricks & Tonic time

Trying to ship a bottle of weller to a buddy in Virginia...any suggestions for a first time mailer of booze?
I've had wine shipped all the time, so it should be alright. It was even shipped via FedEx, yeah I know..
Some tips would be to wrap it up snugly in bubble wrap and use a sturdy cardboard box. I wouldn't expect it to break, but if you are worried about that then first wrap the bottle in a zip lock bag. There are also "wine diapers" that would soak stuff up. I've only used those once when traveling, and nothing broke.
Here is an extensive write-up https://www.easyship.com/blog/how-to-ship-alcohol I think this is more for business shipping than personal, but the packing tips are still good.
I think if you don't tell the postal service what it is, then you could use them, but you run the chance of them finding out.
Evidently it's National Whiskey Day? Of all the made up holidays this is one I can get behind.
