Been getting a lot of warped records lately. Often it really isn’t audible, at least to my ears. Not very satisfying, though, to watch the arm “bounce” up and down. For instance I’m listening to a new record now which is pretty warped, but it really sounds great (Dawes - Nothing Is Wrong). But, what is the effect, other than the aesthetic/visual with warped records? Does it lead to quicker stylus wear? I’ma a bit tired of asking for replacement and sometimes it just isn’t possible, for instance when I buy on trips on the continent and such.
