Grammy winner- Best Traditional R&B Song
Just got this this morning and loving it - Donald Byrd - Stepping into Tomorrow
Ash - Islands
How are you finding it @Mr Moore? Im impressed. By all accounts, it took a couple years worth of composing, practicing, etc until they recorded it so it feels quite refined to me.
Liam Gallagher - As You Were. Deluxe Hard Backed Book edition.
This is such a gem of an album from last year. Currently on my second spin of it today.
Goatman - Rhythms

Honestly, I wish I'd streamed before. The instrumentation is fantastic. It's also the best sounding Jazz Re:freshed record I have but I didn't realise just how vocal it would be. It felt like 50% of the tracks had vocals and I'm not the biggest fan of vocals at the best of times but Jazz vocals pretty much send me running for the hills. I'll give it another go for sure but if it doesn't stick I'll just put it up for sale/trade, from what I'm reading it's sold out everywhere so it may be an inadvertent winner in that way.
a box arrived today.
Van Morrison - Veedon Fleece
Ah yeah I can see how it wouldnt be your cup of tea in that case. One thing that is annoying is that they played a lot of songs at the launch which arent even on the album. Whereas only 2 of the songs they played live had vocals.
Wish i grabbed this one back in the day!
Obituary - Slowly We Rot
(1989 R/C Records/Roadrunner Records, 2019 Music On Vinyl Reissue, Green/Yellow Mix, #669/2000)
Cross post from the Feb Challenge.
William Onyeabor - Atomic Bomb. Nigerian Funk at its finest!
Nachtmystium - Silencing Machine
(2012 Century Media, Black/White marbled)
Huge thanks to @The_Stoned_Ape for this!
This album really is fantastic, too bad it gets overshadowed by the rest of Miles’ albums.
Just like @Slimwhit. Not a bad track on it though I think Out of the Blue beats it by a touch.
Trying to piece together my dads old ELO collection after he skipped his a few years ago on a whim.
Bob Dylan - Nashville Skyline.
Straight into my first play of this. It sounds like Dylan has had a voice transplant for most of this album!
