Ahhh I see, thats why I couldnt match it up then. Cheers @craigdino
I don’t have that record yet. Don’t judge me!
The Smiths - Hatful Of Hollow
Why pamper life’s complexities when the leather runs smooth on the passenger seat
Townes Van Zandt - Sky Blue (VMP Exclusive pressing)
Introducing me to TVZ's work was the best thing I got from my VMP membership last year. I have a real fascination with the guy and his lyrics are just insanely good (he literally dreamt up the story of Poncho and Lefty after a heavy night of drinking, woke up to scribble down the lyrics, then went back to sleep. They were that good that they didn't even need editing afterwards). This is a great comp of 'missing' tapes from the basement sessions, including a couple of unreleased songs. My only negative point would be that each song seems to end quite abruptly, so they don't particularly flow that well, although they were never meant to be put together as an album anyway so I suppose that's excusable.
Clifford Jordan Quintet - Glass Bead Games (Superfly Records reissue).
This one has eluded me for a while now. Finally found an unopened copy at a fair price. Its a fantastic record, sounds amazing and the quality of the packaging is really great too.
But the thing that I lust for and the thing that I'll get
Is to take over your body and be in your head
Albert Ayler Quartet- The Hilversum Sessions
I’m still makin my way through my box.
Checking out what all the fuss is about. Bonus shitty vapor wave pic:
Did you know that there is something wrong with Mr. Wright?
Johnny Cash- American VI
Another King Crimson. As greatest hits comps go this is an excellent intro to KC. Original press/promo stamped on rear/like new vinyl. Great art work.
